RWBY Season 1 & 2

"RWBY", is an anime styled American CG animated Web series about four girls, each with their own unique weapon and powers. Together, they form a team at Beacon Academy, and train to become Huntresses.


I've been with Rooster Teeth, now for over a year. I initially started on Season I as a character animator and on Season I returned as a Lead

I animated all the main and secondary character's with key frame animation, lip sync and motion capture. I was responsible for camera and animation for various sequences on each episode. I also assisted in story boarding and animatics.

MX vs. ATV ALIVE

I worked with the design team to storyboard and create animatics for the pre and post race sequences. I directed the motion capture session for all the characters. I also worked with programmers to create an in-house scripting / timeline tool and supervised a team of 3 animators. I assisted with the animation tuning and animated the cameras. For these sequences, we wanted to show the spectacle of supercross, the pyro and all the action that is going on just before the gate drops. all the actions had to be what would happen in those final seconds.

FIFA SOCCER 2002

I worked with the design team to storyboard and create an animatic for this opening sequence to Fifa 2002. I directed the motion capture for all the characters and worked with programmers to create an in-house scripting / timeline tool. I supervised a team of 3 animators and worked on the character animation, camera and FX.

This is a clip from a fight sequence between an ogre and a hero character that I'm working on for a personal project. It was animated in Max/Cat

MX vs. ATV ALIVE TERRACROSS

I worked with the design team to storyboard and create animatics for the pre and post race sequences. I directed the motion capture session for all the characters. I also worked with programmers to create an in-house scripting / timeline tool and supervised a team of 3 animators. I assisted with the animation tuning and also animated the cameras. For these sequences, we wanted to show off more of the beautiful locations but still have the characters actions be frantic and amped as they get in those last minute directions before a race.

MX vs. ATV FREERIDE

I collaborated with the Art Director to come up with different ways to drop off the rider into remote locations in the freeride world. I created storyboards and animatics for several different vehicles and we finally decided to go with the hovercraft, transport plane and cargo helicopter. I supervised a team of 2 animators, worked on the animation and scripted the cameras.

This is a hero character walk cycle. It was animated in Max/Cat. I wanted to have him walk with a confident swagger.
